Background
Typically, when utilizing a search engine, a textual keyword combination is entered in the search field. The textual query string in the text box requires a complicated combination of keywords. Even if you are savvy with key words and the rules associated with text strings, it is neither easy nor straightforward to hit the target item by typing the keyword combination alone. Therefore in some cases, it allows for a drilling down process for the targeted search item through hierarchically structured combo-boxes. And yet, in some cases, it would be difficult to query in a textual expression, in order to be intuitive enough for a particular search criteria. Furthermore, certain items that users search for may not be well defined in their minds. In these situations, you cannot type the key word query string every time to see different products. For instance, if the merchandise is high fashion items, customers may like to view an Avatar reflection of their own image and “try on” a fashion ensemble in various ways. Therefore, our new idea was conceived in such a way that if we can design what we like visually, then we can submit the completed design to the search engine. Thus the concept of the image designer was born; where the textual query can be replaced with a visual method, if we are able to map the keywords to the image in the backend. The image designer is literally a designing canvas with a toolset whereby users can design what they would like to search for. Most importantly, the image designer will be very user friendly and intuitive to make designing easy and enjoyable.
